Wild Dog's Last Shot

This drawing was completed this afternoon. While Wild Dog had never been one of my favorite DC characters, he's still fun to draw. Must be the hockey mask. Anyway, this piece is entitled "Wild Dog's Last Shot." I imagine him having just survived some crazy car cash that ended in a flip and then resulted in a ten minute gun fight. This is the final moment of that fight, when he rises to fire that last bullet.

Cheers!

Antigone

Another older one: "Antigone"

I did this poster in Fall of 2007. It was a fun one.

Enjoy and cheers!

Electra

Look! Artwork!

This is actual an older piece, but nonetheless one of my favorites. It's called "Electra" and it was created to promote Umbrella Machine Theatre's "Electra," directed by James Darrah and starring Rhiannon Cuddy back in February of 2007.

If I remember correctly, this thing took 25 hours to paint. Not that that really means anything.

Well, I'm glad I got some artwork up. My work here is done.

Cheers!

Welcome!

I suppose this address is really to myself as no one us looking at me yet. And yet, this thing does need some kind of introduction. I'm not sure I can just start posting artwork and not explain myself.

I suppose that brings me to my intentions for this blog. I'd like to have a place to post my personal artwork, personal artwork, works in progress (which I call WIPs), and the like. Not sure who's going to look at, but hey, plenty of other artists I know keep blogs.

Well, I'm currently storyboarding a film entitled "Procession," which is about a young Jewish girl who stows away in the hearse carrying her boyfriends body. I've just recently had my first meeting with the director and producer, Beth and Brooke respectively, and am excited to begin.

I've also begun working with a Christian magazine doing some illustration work for them. I just completed my first assignment.

I'm doing some preliminary testing to see if my style matches the vision for an action figure company out of New York.

The non-profit theatre company I run, Vespertine Productions, is preparing our October show: A Zombie Attack Survival Course.

If you are reading this, check back soon as artwork from all of these projects should be up.

Cheers!
